Sail Rock

Considered the premier dive site in the Gulf of Thailand, Sail Rock is a pinnacle which rises to 15m above and 40m below the surface and is situated between Koh Phangan and Koh tao.

It’s famous for its natural underwater vertical swim through or chimney which divers can enter at 6 metres and exit at 18. It is also the visiting site of many larger pelagic fish including chevron barracuda, big schools of mackerel, jacks, trevally and tuna.

Sail Rock is one of the best places in Thailand to have the chance of seeing the whale shark. Giant moray eels and lion fish have also taken up residency. The Trigger fish are also very playful during their nesting period!

Koh Tao

We are able to give divers the opportunity to dive koh Tao whilst staying on Phangan.

There are many dive sites to choose from so we will take you to the best 2 with regard to conditions and weather.

The dive site we prefer to use are Shark Island, Hin Wong, Laem Tian, and Aow luk. Koh Tao also offers the chance of seeing turtles, small reef sharks and an abundance of trigger fish.

The crystal clear waters around the island make the day trip perfect for snorkelers as well.

Anthong National Marine Park

Angthong  consists of 42 islands, its name means “Golden Urn” in Thai.

The scenery topside is very similar to the Andaman side with many limestone outcrops and formations.

The two most popular dive spots in the national park are at Koh Wao and Hin Yippon where you can enter shallow caves and swim throughs. Soft and black corals are plentiful and you may spot banded sea snakes and turtles here. It is also one of the few places where, if you’re lucky, you may see whale sharks.

This site is also very good for Discover scuba diving as well as experienced divers, its also a great place for the family to go snorkelling.

Koh Ma – Local Dive

Koh Ma is a beautiful small island connected to the beach of Mae Haad by a sand bar. This dive site offers shallow water with a beautiful coral reef and has a mix of hard and soft corals and can be accessed directly from to the beach or a short boat trip from Chaloklum pier.
