PADI Scuba Diving Instructor

Share your love for scuba diving and learn to teach by becoming a PADI Scuba Diving Instructor on Koh Phangan Thailand.  PADI is the largest diving training agency worldwide with dive centres around the globe.

Our PADI Scuba Diving Instructor Training Course (IDC) will teach you to instruct divers to learn diving in the safest and most thorough way.

Our aim is not only to make you confident teaching in the classroom, swimming pool and ocean, but to give you a good understanding of how PADI courses are run and how you can plan these courses in the best way for the students and for yourself. We will have a close look at each of the diving courses you will teach in the future and see what skills and theory are involved in each course.

Whats involved in the Instructor Course?

During the class time you will learn how to apply PADI Standards and Procedures, learn how to teach in the classroom and in confined water and open water. Furthermore you will learn how to market PADI diving courses effectively.

The PADI IDC also helps you to gain a complete understanding of PADI’s educational goals and philosophies so you can benefit from a maximum of diving knowledge. The PADI IDC including the prep course lasts 14 days and is followed by the two-day Instructor Examination (IE).

The PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) at Sail Rock Divers will provide you also with additional workshops and training to best understand the PADI diving system.

The IE is conducted by an independent examiner from PADI Headquarters.
